Accessibility statement
A template statement for the practice to complete after a real audit. The wording below is an example only and must be checked before publication.
Conformity status
To complete: “This site is fully compliant / partially compliant / non-compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.” State the date the statement was drawn up and which version of the standard you used.
Test results
To complete: describe the method you actually used — automated tools, keyboard navigation, which screen readers and versions, contrast checks, 200% zoom, and the date of testing.
To complete: list the content you know to be non-compliant and why. Common cases on a practice site: the third-party booking widget, whose accessibility is not yours to control, and embedded maps, which need an address and written directions alongside them.
The booking widget is supplied by a third party, so its accessibility is not the practice’s to control. Embedded maps cannot be read by a screen reader; the full address and directions are given in text right beside them.

Access to the premises
The practice is on the ground floor, the entrance is step-free and the treatment rooms are wheelchair accessible. There is an accessible toilet.
If we do not resolve it
If you find an accessibility failure that blocks you from content and you do not get a satisfactory answer, you can refer the matter to the Défenseur des droits, free of charge.
